The Association for Ecological Wood Heating, z.s., with its registered office at Olejna 328, Jindřichův Hradec II, 377 01 Jindřichův Hradec, ID No.: 21898413 (hereinafter referred to as "AEVD"), takes care to protect personal data and its processing in accordance with applicable legislation, in particular EU Regulation No. 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data.
1) What data we process and its sources
AEVD processes personal data that you provide to us directly (for example, when you register, fill in a contact form or subscribe to our newsletter). This data may include:
- Name and surname
- E-mail address
- Telephone number
- IP address
- Content of communication with us
- Data related to membership or cooperation
2) Purposes of processing
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Fulfilling contractual and membership obligations
- Answering your questions and requests
- Sending information and marketing communications (if you have given your consent)
- AEVD website management and traffic analysis
- Ensuring IT infrastructure security
3) Legal basis for processing
We process personal data on the basis of:
- Fulfillment of contract or membership
- AEVD's legitimate interest in providing information and managing its membership base
- Consent of the data subject (e.g. for a newsletter)
- Fulfilling legal obligations
4) Data retention period
We retain personal data for the time necessary to fulfil the above purposes. In the case of data processed on the basis of consent, we keep it until its withdrawal. In the case of contractual and accounting documents, we retain data for 10 years in accordance with legal obligations.
5) Sharing of personal data
We do not disclose personal data to third parties, with the exception of:
- Processors of services related to website operation and IT security
- Analytics and marketing service providers (such as Google Analytics)
- Public authorities, where we are required to do so by law

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data
- Request correction or deletion of data
- Object to processing
- Withdraw consent to processing
- File a complaint with Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz)
