In the current issue of Heating Installations, the AEVD has published a press release on the European Commission's June meeting on the revision of the Ecodesign Regulation for solid fuel-fired local heaters.
In the text, we point out, for example, the fundamental differences between wood and coal emissions, the need for fair rules and market controls, or that the way to cleaner air is mainly to replace old heaters, not just tighten limits for new ones.
