On Friday 7 November 2025, dozens of stove workshops, showrooms and production facilities opened across the Czech Republic. Stove Day, organized by the Stove Makers Guild of the Czech Republic with the support of the Association for Ecological Wood Heating (AEVD), had one goal - to show that stoves are not a thing of the past, but a modern, ecological and beautiful part of today's homes.

AEVD responds to the June European Commission meeting on Ecodesign
On 25 June 2025, the European Commission presented further developments of the proposal for the revision of the Ecodesign Regulation for solid fuel-fired local heating appliances, including the arguments for the emission limit values.
